Posting this again because people are making a farce over the parallel.

Guys, I love the boys just as much as any other Directioner here but it really bothers me when people start paralleling them to The Beatles… It simply isn’t done. The Beatles were revolutionary in the music industry. Yes, I do believe that these five wonderful boys brought back the boyband, but they will never be as influential as The Beatles. We love them to bits, just like the teenage girls during the time of The Beatles loved them.

Thing is though, to this day the influence on pop culture and rock n’ roll from The Beatles is still felt. The boys know this, and I’m 100% sure that they are grateful for the parallel, but they seem to think they’re not worthy of it. Which is partly why I love them so much, they know when and how to take compliments. Whenever someone pulls out “People are comparing you to The Beatles” card they all shy away from commenting and just acknowledge that it is flattering. But it is all over their faces that they know they don’t deserve that parallel.

If people hate and say “BUT LOOK AT THE RECORD SALES” and “LOOK AT HOW FAST THEY GOT TO NUMBER 1” and say that it was faster, higher, more, better etc. than The Beatles all I have to say is the internet..Harry said it himself “We owe our career to electricity” granted the rest of the boys looked at him funny, but they do. Besides the fact that their so darn hardworking and talented they really do owe it to 21st century technology. It is so much easier for musicians and artists to be discovered worldwide with the internet.

I’m not hating on them, because I really do love them 100% I’m a true blue Directioner waiting for the day that I meet them and leave Narnia. I’m just writing this because I believe that credit should be given where it is due. And as much as I love the boys I feel that they can’t be paralleled to The Beatles. I’m so proud of their success, like each and everyone of you, but by comparing them to The Beatles and saying they’ve done better we’re really just asking for more people who aren’t apart of this fandom do think we’re crazy. And we shouldn’t want that… If people start to dislike our fandom, it’ll be associated with the five wonderful boys we all love. And they might just start getting hate, which none of us want.. We’re pretty sure that they’ll still appreciate our dedication, but will they still love us if we’ve gone off the deep end and start to get other people really pissed off.. I don’t think so.

Special Preference: The kids are crazy!

  • Amelia Styles: Amelia is a miniature, female Harry. She’s completely crazy, and very dramatic, and she thoroughly enjoys attention from anyone. Almost daily, she performs little plays for you and Harry, and even without the plays she’s a performer in the things she does. Amelia is also a big flirt, even at a young age, which both concerns Harry and makes him laugh. You believe she should focus more on school work, or athletics, but she’s much too busy creating her own games and playing with others to do that. Also a diva, she loves dressing up (especially in sparkles and sequins). Amelia and you can sometimes have a strained relationship, and sometimes Harry has a hard time because their personalities are so similar, but all three of you love each other more than anyone else on the planet.
  • Seth Payne: Seth and Jesse are the Fred and George Weasley of the One Direction family, and they both are usually in some sort of trouble. Seth is the brains behind the pair, and always comes up with plans and designs. For how smart he is, he blatantly refuses to participate in his schoolwork, which is frustrating to you and Liam. Thankfully, he makes up for it by participating in a myriad of clubs and extracurriculars with a large group of friends – he’s in plays with Amelia, and does lots of art projects because he’s very creative. He’s got an athletic body, but doesn’t really do many sports other than the boyish games him and his brother participate in. Probably the louder one of the boys, he’s a natural leader and can be bossy at times. Him and Jesse love teasing their sister Ava, but are quick to defend her whenever somebody else tries to mess with her. Seth also has a very sweet, romantic side, when his ego doesn’t get the better of him.
  • Jesse Payne: Both Jesse and Seth could be identical, and they resemble a young Liam. Jesse especially takes after Liam in that he’s got a runner’s build, and he loves running track and cross country along with other sports like rugby and swimming. Jesse is slightly quieter than Seth, and prefers to follow his brothers lead, but is much more likely to be the worker behind their crazy pranks and plans. He excels the most in school out of the three kids, especially in social studies and science. He’s a daydreamer, but loves hanging out at the creek and the lake to catch frogs and fish (and he loves teasing Ava with them later!). Jesse is fairly popular in school, both among boys and girls, but likes his own company the most. Him and Quin Tomlinson get on surprisingly well, even though she doesn’t like that he’s constantly pranking others.
  • Ava Payne: Ava is the most like her father out of all your children- she’s very sensitive, and sometimes rather shy, which means she can have trouble with making friends. Despite this, she excels at athletics (especially soccer) and can be quite a terror on the field, leading you to believe she is actually not as calm and caring as she lets show. She struggles with some subjects in school, but surprises everyone with how intelligent she is and what she picks up and absorbs. Like her father, once you get past the introverted exterior, she emerges to be a very strong and productive leader, but sometimes needs a little prodding to do so. Sometimes you and Liam joke about how she looks too much like Harry, because she has wildly curly hair, but she inherited Liam’s eyes. Ava is especially insecure because of her medical problems- like her dad, she has some moderate kidney problems, and she has a birthmark that stretches over much of her left shoulder and the back of her neck. She gets along fairly well with her brothers, but sometimes they can exclude her, so she spends a lot of time with you and Liam.
  • Quin Tomlinson: Quin is very different than Louis- she’s slightly outspoken, and not quick to joke, but she’s extraordinarily intelligent. Always with her nose in a book, she excels in school but still manages to be a social butterfly among a group of equally smart girls. She’s rather quick to make an opinion on any situation and is very stubborn! Louis says she looks like her aunts, because she has thin dirty blonde hair and large doe eyes. For how different they are, Quin and Louis have a particularly close relationship, because Louis is amazing at getting her out of her shell, and Quin is good at bringing Louis back down to Earth (sometimes you get confused as to which one is the adult!) Though she loves music, she refuses to sing in front of anyone, so she amuses herself by plunking out things on the piano. Occasionally you overhear her singing to herself, and she’s very good, but you never mention it to her in case she stops. She also loves being outdoors, and often drags you and Lou on hikes or to camp in tents outside while she tells you all about the constellations. Louis is quite amazed by her, and treats her like a princess when she allows it.
  • Cade Horan: Cade, for lack of better description, is a complete boy. He loves sports, video games, and hard rock music, and despises the color pink and anything girly (or so he says, but you think he is secretly a romancer…maybe…) He does fairly well in school, but he is really fantastic at sports. As he grows more and more interested in girls, Niall helps him pick up the guitar, even though he’s not very good at it. Cade also surprises everyone by looking nothing like Niall- he has VERY dark brownish black hair, and is destined to grow much taller than his father. He is very likely to laugh at perverted jokes, or make them himself, and has an appetite that rivals anyone in the Horan Household, which helps him build a lot of bulk and muscle. People are drawn to his outgoing personality and contagious laugh, and he’s extraordinarily popular at school and very independent. Sometimes you worry if all the attention is going to his head, but he’s very good at staying down to Earth. Thankfully, Niall, Cade, and you have a very close relationship and consistently go on family adventures, whether they be across town or across the world.
  • Joji "Joe" Malik: Joe is a romancer, a poet, and a talented musician. Almost before he could walk, he loved banging on things to make music, and you swear he was singing before he was talking. Zayn and Joji almost have a brotherly relationship, because they’re constantly messing around and doing manly things and musician things, but you think your son will make a good boyfriend someday because he’s always helping you and going out of his way to show you how much he appreciates you. Joe is rubbish at math, but his English teachers drool over him and his poetry (which he claims are just song lyrics that don’t have a song yet, but you know better). Sometimes he has a hard time fitting in with boys at his school, but as he grows older girls fall head over heels for him all the time, which he finds very strange. He stays very busy, and so many times your family doesn’t have time to do things together, but it doesn’t mean you aren’t close. Joe is not athletically inclined, but stays in shape by going to the gym with his dad when he has too. Instead of sports, he is already pursuing a career in musicianship, and is extraordinarily independent because of it. He is your pride and joy, and Zayn’s too, and you’re confident that he will be a fantastic boyfriend, brother, son, husband, and person who will do a lot with his life.
